Adaptor Plates for Vacuum Casting

These aluminum adapter plates seat a flask on a vacuum casting chamber so the chamber pulls a seal while you pour. They are designed to work with standard vacuum casting machine chambers, including the Arbe Kaya Cast, the Grobet Procraft, and similar machines, and they can be paired with silicone gaskets to build your own vacuum casting metal chamber for 3-3/8" and 4" diameter casting flasks.

Each plate measures 7-1/2" in diameter with a 5-1/2" diameter lip. The solid-wall plate (121.801) has a 5/8" center hole for casting on top of the chamber. The two cutout plates (121.802 and 121.803) are sized to accept standard 3-3/8" or 4" diameter perforated flasks, letting the perforated flask sit down inside the vacuum chamber. Use heat-resistant silicone gaskets to seal the chamber while under vacuum.
