Description

110V / 120V supply only. This unit is built for standard North American household current (110V / 120V). Running it on 220V / 240V through a voltage converter-transformer voids any warranty the equipment may have. Confirm your outlet voltage before powering on. Learn more

A burnout kiln takes invested flasks from wax elimination through to casting temperature on a programmed schedule. The Paragon S1420 is a professional guillotine-style burnout kiln built for jewelers and casters who need consistent, thorough wax elimination. An air intake vent and internal circulation system deliver the oxygen needed to fully vaporize wax, for a cleaner and more complete burnout than standard designs provide. The conventional firebrick interior ramps temperature somewhat slower than fiber muffle types, but holds target temperatures more steadily over longer programs, which reduces wear on the controller and improves cycle consistency.

The guillotine-style door opens upward and out of the way, allowing safer and easier access without a locking mechanism to hold it in position. When the door is open, escaping heat is channeled up and back, away from the operator rather than outward, and the hot interior surface stays rear-facing to minimize burn risk during loading and unloading.

The exposed firebrick-insulated heating element is accessible for straightforward replacement if needed, and a powder-coated exterior gives tough protection for years of shop use. The kiln is made in the United States and carries a two-year manufacturer warranty.

Features

  • Guillotine-style door channels escaping heat up and away from the operator when open
  • Hot door surface remains rear-facing while open for added operator safety
  • No door lock required, since the door stays open during loading and unloading
  • Air intake vent and circulation system improve wax vaporization and burnout completeness
  • Conventional firebrick interior holds target temperatures steadily through longer programs
  • Exposed heating element insulated by firebrick, easy to access and replace if needed
  • Built-in three-key Sentry controller stores up to four programs, each with up to eight segments
  • 9" x 9" x 7" chamber fires up to 2,012°F (1,000°C) on 110 volts
  • Tough powder-coated exterior finish for long-term durability
  • Two-year manufacturer warranty included

Notes

  • Conventional firebrick ramps temperature more slowly than fiber muffle kiln types but provides superior temperature stability during extended programs.
  • The exposed heating element design allows for easier field replacement than enclosed element configurations.
