Peter Keep Ezi-Set Stone Setting Pliers With 3 Extra Burnishing Pins

Closing a bezel or a tube setting by hand requires even, controlled pressure on the rim rather than a hammer blow. The Ezi-Set Stone Setting Pliers were designed by master jeweler Peter Keep of Jewellery Training Solutions to make that job easier and more efficient at the bench.

The nylon jaw sits under the setting and supports it while the burnishing tip applies smooth, controlled pressure to the setting rim, so the rim moves with minimal effort. Three extra tips come with the pliers and can be shaped for a range of stone setting tasks.

The plier tips now carry knurled heads for easy finger adjustment and no longer use nuts. The thread is unchanged, so the current tips and the earlier version tips remain interchangeable.
