Value Line Bench Mounted Ring Shank Bender with 2 Dies

Mount this ring shank bender directly to a workbench or tabletop for a stable, efficient way to bend flat and half-round stock into rings. The 15-inch handle provides the leverage needed to form thick metal ring stock from gold, silver, copper, and other non-ferrous metals. Simply insert a small amount of stock at a time and bring the upper mandrel down into the die to progressively shape the stock into a round ring shank.

This bender includes two interchangeable dies — one flat-profile die for flat stock and one domed-profile die for low dome or half-round stock. Each die is held securely in position by three locking screws, keeping your setup stable throughout the bending process.

Place a piece of leather between the die and the ring shank to protect your metal from marring during use. A thermoplastic material can also be used to create custom non-marring dies for additional surface protection.
