Description
Beading blocks are essential bench tools for maintaining the edges of beading tools, keeping them sharp and properly formed for accurate bead-setting work. This classic French-made beading block offers a lower-cost alternative to Swiss-made blocks while still delivering reliable performance for re-sharpening beading tools. Set in a round brass frame, twelve different steel beads ranging from 0.60 mm to 1.00 mm are arranged in a clear progression, making it easy to select the correct size for each tool. The numbers engraved on the block indicate bead progression sequence and do not correspond directly to beading tool size.

Notes
Important: The numbered markings on this block indicate the progression of bead sizes and do not correspond to beading tool size. When re-sharpening, it is easier to rotate the beading tool on this French-made block than on Swiss alternatives; however, care must be taken not to apply excessive downward pressure, as the French-style beads can break off under force. Swiss-made beading blocks feature beads that are not susceptible to this type of damage.
