Matched Hardwood Dapping Die & Punch Set

The Matched Hardwood Dapping Die & Punch Set gives metalsmiths and jewelers a comprehensive forming solution for doming discs and sheet metal into consistent hemispherical shapes. The set pairs a solid hardwood dapping block with 10 matching hardwood punches, each punch sized slightly smaller than its corresponding depression to allow smooth, controlled forming without binding.

The block features 8 depressions on one side and 2 on the reverse, spanning a wide range from approximately 5/8" to 2-3/8" in diameter. All depressions are clearly marked in metric sizes for quick identification at the bench. Each matching punch is similarly marked, making it easy to select the correct pair for any given project.
