A rotary tumbler earns its keep at the bench by burnishing and cutting down finished metal while you work on something else, and the Value Line Rotary Tumbler does that job with a 6 lb. (3 kg) barrel and plain analog controls.

Rotary tumbling is a proven mass finishing technique used to burnish or cut down metal surfaces. The process works gradually, over several hours or even days, which makes it the slowest of the mass finishing methods while giving the greatest capacity for the size of the machine. Load steel shot with detergent compounds to burnish and work-harden pieces, or run plastic media with detergents for more aggressive surface cut-down.

Single-direction rotation, an analog timer, and an analog speed control keep operation straightforward, and the barrel accepts up to 3 kg (approximately 6 lb.) of shot or of combined media and workpieces. The unit runs on 110V/60Hz and is made in China.
