Durston 1977 Ultra-Pure White 2 Gram Rhodium Bath Concentrate

A concentrated rhodium plating solution for bath plating at the bench, diluted with deionized water to make up the working bath. Durston 1977 Ultra-Pure White Rhodium Bath Concentrate delivers professional-grade rhodium plating in a concentrated 100ml (3.38 oz) formula containing 2 grams of rhodium. Diluting it produces exactly 1000ml (33.8 oz / approximately one quart) of working solution at a ratio of 2g rhodium per 100ml. The result is a clean, bright white rhodium finish with excellent coverage, reflectivity, and consistent color across plated surfaces.

The formula is noted for its efficient deposition and strong throwing power, making it well suited for intricate or detailed jewelry pieces that require full, even coverage.

Compatibility

The concentrate performs particularly well on gold and silver. When plating copper or brass substrates, applying a suitable undercoat, such as silver, nickel, palladium, or platinum, prior to rhodium plating is recommended. Not all metals can be rhodium plated.
