Durston 1020 Agile F110 Flat Rolling Mill

Durston achieved this by employing a thinner frame construction, lighter than the DRM 100 series mills, while fully engineering the frame to handle the demands of everyday studio and production use without any compromise in quality or durability. A traditional T-bar replaces the heavy cast handwheel for roll opening adjustment, contributing to the weight and cost savings that make the Agile line so competitive.

The rolls are induction hardened to 64 HRC to a depth of 6 mm, matching the hardness standard found in Durston's premium DRM line. Bearings are self-lubricating and maintenance-free, reducing long-term upkeep. The heavy-duty 4-to-1 gearbox is a standout feature, significantly reducing the effort required to turn the rolls and setting a high bar for ease of use in this class of mill. Two specially formed gears behind the cover further smooth the rolling action. A protective guard around the top gears provides an added safety measure during operation.
