Foredom SR 230V Flex Shaft with C.SCH-2 Cast Iron Foot Control and Handpiece Choice

This is the 230V configuration of the classic Foredom SR hang-up setup with the heavy cast iron foot control: a 1/6 HP reversible M.SR-2 motor, the C.SCH-2 metal foot control, and your choice of professional handpiece. The cast iron pedal stays put on the floor and gives fine, progressive speed control from a crawl to full speed, so both hands stay on the work. Jewelers, metalsmiths and repair shops get the SR motor's full range of torque for cutting, grinding and polishing.

Power and Plug: Adapter Required

This kit runs on 230V only. The C.SCH-2 control's cord ends in a NEMA 5-15 style plug, the familiar North American shape, so connecting it takes a plug adapter matched to your outlet: a NEMA 230V outlet adapter on North American 230V circuits, or the adapter specific to your country's outlets elsewhere. Never plug this kit into a standard 110/120V outlet. The plug will fit, but the voltage is wrong for the motor and control.

• Caution: When using screw-top mandrels with unmounted polishing wheels, the reverse feature may unscrew the mandrel. Use only pre-mounted polishing wheels when operating in reverse.
