The Quatro RH-DTA1 Desktop Plating Fume Hood is a self-contained, ventless fume containment system designed for professional jewelry plating environments. No external venting is required, because this stand-alone unit uses a multi-stage filtration system to scrub dangerous plating fumes from the air, keeping your workplace safe during rhodium, gold, and other metal plating operations.
The unit draws fumes, including sulfuric acid vapors from rhodium plating and cyanide-based fumes from gold plating, through a series of four filter stages, trapping contaminants before air is returned to the workspace. A quiet variable-speed motor allows you to increase airflow when solutions are heated and fume production is highest. A built-in filter indicator alerts you when it is time to replace any of the three active filters, so performance is never compromised. An interior LED light illuminates the containment cabinet for clear visibility during plating work.
