Description
This bent square shank 825 hallmark stamp is precision cut from heat-treated tool steel and designed for marking precious metals with a clean, sunken impression. The bent shank — also known as a gooseneck design — makes this stamp ideal for reaching the inside of rings and other curved or recessed surfaces where a straight stamp cannot reach.
The 825 hallmark designation indicates that the metal contains at least 82.5% pure gold, equivalent to 19 karat gold. Stamping with the correct hallmark is an essential step in accurately representing the metal content of finished jewelry pieces.
Measurement refers to the height of the impression, not the width.
