Badeco MX-1 Strong Micromotor with Handpiece

The Swiss-made Badeco MX-1 Strong Micromotor delivers that torque with precision and quiet operation for professional jewelers and watchmakers. The system pairs the high-torque RS2000 carbon-fiber motor with fine speed control and a choice of handpiece, so you configure the toolset that fits your workflow. Each system ships with the MX-1 control box, the RS2000 motor and a PC800 variable-speed foot control, and you select the handpiece that completes the setup.

The RS2000 runs 2,000–20,000 RPM in forward or reverse, and the control box is dual voltage, running on 115V or 220V / 240V. Collet and chuck capacity depends on the handpiece you choose: the 465 and 388 take 3/32" (2.35mm) shanks, the 388 accepts optional collets from 0.55mm to 3.2mm (1/8"), and the 380 chuck opens from 0.05mm to 4.5mm.

Badeco has manufactured precision micromotor systems in Geneva, Switzerland for decades, and the MX-1 reflects that heritage. The two-year factory warranty is serviced directly by Badeco SA in Geneva rather than through a third-party depot, so repairs meet the original manufacturer's standards.

Notes

The Badeco 465 handpiece collet is manufactured to extremely tight tolerances and is optimized for precision burs and drills from Busch, Brasseler, Komet, Panther and Dentsply Maillefer. U.S.-made burs with oversized shanks may not seat reliably in this handpiece.
