The Baldor 359T is a single-speed 1/2 HP polishing motor built for professional jewelers and metalsmiths who demand reliable, long-term performance. Baldor polishing motors feature sealed bearing construction and a dynamically balanced rotor and shaft that deliver vibration-free, exceptionally quiet operation — even during extended continuous use. The sealed ball bearings are lubricated for life and are fully protected against dust and debris, making this motor an ideal choice for demanding bench environments.
The 359T uses a taper fit shaft system. Taper fit spindles slide onto the shafts and are tapped at the spindle end to create a secure friction fit. Removal is straightforward: the spindle removing rings rotate outward, pushing the friction-fit spindles off the shaft cleanly. Taper fit spindles are sold separately.
