Durston 1061 Pedestal Stand for Rolling Mills

A pedestal stand lifts a rolling mill to a comfortable working height and gives it a dedicated footprint on the shop floor. The Durston 1061 Pedestal Stand is a purpose-built floor stand designed to securely mount Durston rolling mills at that height. Pre-drilled to accommodate a wide range of Durston mill models, this stand provides a stable, dedicated workstation for sheet and wire rolling operations in a professional studio or shop environment. It measures 11-3/4" (300 mm) wide by 13-3/4" (350 mm) deep, stands 35-3/8" (900 mm) tall, and is made in Great Britain.

Compatibility

Compatible models include all Durston Mini-Mills, the full DRM line (DRM 100, DRM 130, and DRM 150) in both reduction gear and non-reduction gear configurations, and the Agile line of Durston rolling mills (from April 2019). The Agile 165 aligns with 2 holes on the pedestal stand, and 2 holes are the recommended minimum for secure mounting.

This stand does not fit any version, new or old, of the D2 120, D2 130, or D4 158 over-and-under rolling mills.

Notes

• Four mounting bolts with nuts and washers are included for attaching the mill to the stand.
• Floor-mounting hardware is not included with this stand.
• If permanent floor mounting is not an option, a practical workaround is to bolt the pedestal to a sheet of 1/2"–3/4" plywood cut at least 6 feet long and 3 feet wide, with the stand centered so the rolling mill handle grip runs perpendicular to the long dimension of the plank.
