A dual handpiece micromotor system for the bench, pairing a low vibration rotary handpiece for cutting, grinding, finishing and texturing with a reciprocating hammer handpiece for stone setting and engraving. Foredom runs both from one HP4-817 control box on 115V: the brushless H.MH-150 rotary handpiece turns 1,000–50,000 RPM on 230 W with 10 oz·in (70 mNm) of torque, and the brush type H.MH-110 hammer handpiece works at 0–2,500 strokes per minute.
The rotary handpiece carries a 3/32" (2.35 mm) collet, so it accepts burs, points and accessories with 3/32" (2.35 mm) shanks. The control box seats the brushless micromotor in its rear port and the hammer handpiece in its front port, and it offers dial control, foot control and auto cruise, selectable forward or reverse rotation, an LED display and built-in overload protection.

Notes
Use high speeds for smooth, clean detailing in metal and wood, bright cutting, grinding, finishing, texturing and polishing. Medium speeds suit fast stock removal in materials such as wood, diestone and acrylics. Low speeds provide extra control and power for stone setting, milling and other delicate operations.
The hammer handpiece features an impact adjustment ring, so you can set the force from light to strong blows. Stroke rate is controlled at the control box, and the supplied graver holder converts the hammer into a power engraver without an air compressor or flexible shaft drive.
