Drilling, grinding, shaping, texturing and polishing at the bench all run off one flex shaft motor and a foot control, and this kit supplies that whole chain. The Foredom K.2272 Flex Shaft Kit is built around the reversible M.SR motor, rated at 1/6 HP and variable from 0–18,000 RPM through the C.FCT foot control, working through the H.30 handpiece and its adjustable Jacobs style chuck, which grips shanks from 0–5/32" (0–3.9 mm).
The kit includes Foredom's AK21 88 piece accessory assortment for grinding, shaping and polishing, so the motor arrives ready to work. It is a practical step up from light duty rotary tools, holding up to 18,000 RPM under normal load. The motor ships in the 115V configuration for use in the USA, Canada and Mexico, and carries a two year warranty from Foredom.
This kit qualifies for complimentary ground shipping within the continental USA when it is purchased alone. Additional items in the same order may be subject to standard ground shipping rates.

- Reverse use: when screw top mandrels carry unmounted wheels, running in reverse can loosen the screw. Use permanently mounted wheels when working in reverse.
