Fretz M-104 Large Concave Stake 57mm Long

The Fretz M-104 Large Concave Stake is a precision forming tool designed to create gentle concave curves on narrow bracelets up to 1" (25mm) wide. When used with sheet up to 1-1/2" (40mm) wide, the resulting curve becomes noticeably more dramatic. This stake is also compatible with 2" tubing and larger diameters, with a maximum tubing or sheet width of 1-1/2" (40mm). At 57mm long, the M-104 delivers reliable, repeatable results for metalsmiths and jewelers working with curved forms.

Compatibility

The M-104 is designed for use with the following Fretz stake holders:

• Fretz H-1 Miniature Stake Holder (112.600) – mounts the stake onto a workbench or tabletop
• Fretz H-1L Extended Reach Stake Holder (112.719) – provides additional reach beyond the standard H-1 for deeper access
• Fretz T-101 Double Ended Stake Holder (112.721) – offers greater working room when the H-1L does not provide sufficient depth. Note that the T-101 has a larger tang requiring a larger stake holder
• Fretz E-101 Extender Holder with Wedge Kit (112.726) – provides additional working room for deep-access forming. Note that the E-101 has a larger tang requiring a larger stake holder

Notes

When using this stake with the Fretz T-101 double ended stake holder or the Fretz E-101 extender holder, be aware that both accessories have larger tangs and will require correspondingly larger stake holders than the H-1 or H-1L.
