Description
A jeweler's saw frame holds the blade under tension for piercing, cutting and detail work at the bench. This is the classic German-made jewelers saw frame, unchanged for generations and still the most popular jewelry saw frame in the world. It is strongly constructed with a forged steel frame, a hardwood handle and thumb screw locking devices. The adjustable frame permits drawing the blade tight and also permits use of broken blades. Throat depths run from 2-1/3 inches (60mm) to 8 inches (200mm), with the shorter depth frames the most popular with jewelers and the largest frames used for marquetry and other craft applications. Spare thumbscrews, serrated holders and washers are available to keep your saw frame in service for generations.
