Lever backs close a drop earring behind the lobe with a hinged wire, which holds better than a friction back on pieces a customer wears every day. These WR Cobb lever backs are made in 14K gold and carry a decorative fleur-de-lis element with an open jump ring for hanging pendants, charms, or other embellishments of your choice. They are offered in 14K yellow gold and 14K white gold, and are sold by the piece, so order two for a pair.

Notes

These lever backs are built with set rivets, meaning the hinges arrive pre-assembled and ready to use. Soldering is not recommended unless the rivet is removed first and reassembled afterward. To keep the hinge operating smoothly, lubricate it with a small amount of mineral oil or a similar lubricant. This is especially important after cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner or a steam cleaner.
