How we source our metal
Handmade in France, this 18K yellow gold push/pull tube safety catch delivers exceptional security for fine brooches and pin stems. The catch features a 5mm base with a slot on the bottom and operates via a sliding tube mechanism: to open, pull the pin on the tube to slide the slot open. When tensioned correctly, the pin stem must be pushed down slightly and moved to the side to release from the catch — a deliberate two-step action that prevents accidental opening.
