Graver Handle-1/2 Head Short-Made in France

These premium French-made graver handles feature a 1/2 head short profile, measuring 1-3/8" in length. Designed for professional engravers and stonesetting work, these handles offer reliable performance and quality construction expected from French manufacture.

Fitting a graver to the handle can be accomplished using one of two common methods. In the first method, heat the tang of the graver until red hot, then press it firmly into the guide hole of the handle—the heated tang burns a precise, custom fit directly into the wood. In the second method, use a drill to slightly enlarge the guide hole, then grind the graver tang to a point sized to match. Place a wood block against the graver tip to protect it, then hammer the tang securely into the handle.
