GRS 003-674 Step Riser For Microblocks

The Step Riser Set lifts a Microblock vise off the bench so you can set working distance to suit your posture or your microscope. Made by Glendo GRS as part 003-674, the set gives jewelers, engravers and stone setters five risers that stack in combination to reach the precise elevation the job needs.

The GRS Microblock itself stands 3.375" tall on its plastic base. Adding a single riser raises the block approximately 3/8" (9mm) because the concave center of the riser accounts for the modest gain with one unit. Each additional riser added raises the block approximately 5/8" (15mm). Using all five risers together raises the Microblock a total of approximately 2-1/2" (63mm), providing meaningful height adjustment range for any workbench setup.

These risers are purpose-built for use with the GRS Microblock™ Ball Vise, a precision work-holding tool machined from solid stainless steel with a low-glare finish to reduce eye strain during detailed work. The Microblock features a smooth self-centering jaw system, an adjustable internal brake for variable rotational resistance, and a compact low-profile design optimized for microscope work and precision tasks such as stone setting and small engraving jobs.
