How we source our metal
Hi-karat yellow gold repair solders give the bench a clean, color-matched joint on gold repair work, supplied in sheet form so you can cut paillons or strips to the size the job needs. Made in the USA, they carry a higher gold content than most standard repair solders, are 100% cadmium free, and flow at controlled temperatures for staged soldering.
Each solder is formulated at a lower gold content than the karat of the workpiece, as recommended for repair soldering, and is sold as a sheet weighing approximately 1 pennyweight (DWT).
