Description
The Miland #1 Anticlastic Pliers feature a 9/16" (14 mm) channel designed to form anticlastic curves — shapes that curve in opposite directions simultaneously, producing a saddle-shaped form. This geometry is distinct from synclastic shaping, and these pliers make achieving it far more efficient than working with conventional dapping tools alone.
These are the original Miland #1 Anticlastic Pliers from Eurotool (part number PLR-376.00), made in Pakistan exclusively for Eurotool. A narrower 7/16" (11 mm) channel version is also available separately (see part number 146.694).
Features
- Forms anticlastic (saddle-shaped) curves in metal sheet and strip
- Curves material in opposite directions simultaneously
- Wider 9/16" (14 mm) channel for broader forming capacity
