Nakanishi NSK Mini-Luster ML-8 Attachment Handpiece LS51307

A reciprocating polishing handpiece for narrow grooves, fine details, and hard-to-reach areas at the bench, operated with a pencil-style grip that keeps the effort low. The Nakanishi NSK Mini-Luster ML-8 Attachment Handpiece (LS51307) is designed for use with the EMax Evolution and ROTUS micromotor systems, running a fixed 0.8mm stroke at a variable 0–9,000 strokes per minute. Unlike a hammer handpiece, this tool produces very little impact force, because its function is precision polishing, not percussion.

You can use any tool that will fit in the 3.5mm round tool hole. The factory states that the tool hole diameter is 0.13", which is equivalent to 1/8", since many tools are available in 1/8". However, the actual tool hold diameter is 3.5mm. Tools are held down with a single 1.5mm hex nut, and a 1.5mm hex key is supplied.

The included grindstone holder has a 3mm diameter shank and takes flat ceramic files up to 1.2mm thick by 6mm wide, held in place by a single 1.5mm hex screw. Use the handpiece with ceramic polishing sticks, or attach Glardon-Vallorbe miniature files through the grindstone holder for pre-polishing applications. The lightweight, compact body and minimal vibration design reduce hand fatigue during long, continuous work sessions.
