Nakanishi NSK ES50T-HR Espert 500 Torque Set With EHR-500 Ring Type Handpiece

A high-torque micromotor set for heavy-duty grinding at the bench, where hard metals and carbide tooling demand more of a motor than a standard rotary system can provide. The NSK ES50T-HR Espert 500 Torque Set delivers the highest power in its class, built around the ENK-500T Torque Type Motor with a maximum output of 200W. The brushless DC motor provides high power, high torque and high speed with very low vibration, minimal noise and very low maintenance requirements. The integrated NAKANISHI Smart Switch turns the motor on and off right at the motor.

With a maximum torque rating of 8.7 cN·m, the ENK-500T significantly outperforms both the ENK-410S 73W standard motor, rated at 4.3 cN·m, and the ENK-250T 76W Torque Type motor, rated at 4.8 cN·m, used with the Emax EVOlution systems. The added wattage and torque suit the set to heavy-duty grinding on hard metals with carbide tools. The working range runs 1,000–50,000 RPM and the unit is 120V with a North American plug.

The included EHR-500 Ring Type handpiece uses a twist-to-open, twist-to-close attachment mechanism for quick, secure tool changes. Two collets come with the set: a 1/8" collet (CHH-3.175) and a 3/32" collet (CHH-2.35), so it runs both common shank sizes straight away. The set also ships with the NE96 Espert 500 control box and the ENK-500T torque motor with cords.

Compatibility

• The EHR-500 handpiece takes 1/8" and 3/32" shanks with the two supplied collets.
• The NSK Espert 500 system does not interchange with any parts from the NSK Emax EVOlution system.
• Optional NSK FC-40 variable speed and on/off foot control, part 134.592, is available separately.
• Optional NSK ERG-01B reduction gear, part 134.595, is available separately.
