Description
The Paragon PY-60 Thermocouple is a Type K temperature-sensing probe designed for use with kilns and burnout programmers. It serves as standard equipment on the Paragon Burnout Programmer PnTfII (Otto Frei item 122.117), making it a reliable replacement or spare for jewelers and metalsmiths who depend on precise temperature monitoring during burnout and casting cycles.
The solid sensor is positioned so that it is exposed inside the kiln chamber, with its wires connected to the pyrometer of the kiln or to the appropriate leads on the burnout programmer. Its Type K design provides an exceptionally wide operating range, and the 1/8" diameter outer sheath is compatible with all kiln wall thicknesses.
