Description

Made with certified recycled precious metal. Our silver, gold and platinum is refined from certified recycled content rather than newly mined ore, through refiners audited by outside parties. How we source our metal

Casting grain for melting and pouring into investment molds at the bench, sold by the troy ounce (20 dwt) so you can buy exactly the weight a job needs.

Four alloys are offered, each formulated for jewelry casting with a different balance of purity, durability, and tarnish resistance. Sterling Silver is .925 silver with .075 copper and delivers traditional casting performance. Fine Silver is .999 pure silver for high-purity work. Argentium® 940 PRO is .935 silver with copper and deoxidizers, designed for modern investment casting with tarnish and firescale resistance. Tarnish-Resistant Sterling holds the .925 composition and adds deoxidizers to reduce tarnishing and firescale.

Features

Fabulous customer service.

Silver casting grain is silver casting grain. It's nothing special but they took care of me. Good care. I was in a lurch and they took the worry off my plate. I'm talking Otto Frei up to my students and jewelry making friend.

If you need someone to help you out, Otto Frei is where to go.
