Solder, anneal, braze, and melt small ingots at the bench on a single fuel cylinder, with no oxygen tank to buy, store, or refill. The Smith NE835A Handi-Heet is an acetylene atmospheric-air torch kit built around the same machined solid-brass Silversmith torch handle (NE-180A) used in the Silversmith kit, with three larger slip-in tips for faster heat delivery on bigger work.
The kit connects to a standard B acetylene tank, which is not included, through a 12-foot twin hose with USA standard B fittings. Recommended fuel pressure is 13–14 psi across all included tips, and the flame reaches an operating temperature of approximately 4700°F (2630°C).
