Description
Close a jump ring at the repair bench or the retail counter without lighting a torch.
Sterling silver link locks are a patented self-closing jump ring that removes the need to solder a ring shut. Fit the open link between two pieces of jewelry, hold the lock with one pair of pliers, and squeeze the gap closed with a second pair. Once closed, it can only be reopened by cutting it, which makes the connection as strong and as reliable as a soldered link and leaves any tampering obvious.
Millions of link locks have gone into use by jewelers worldwide, and any staff member can fit one without specialized skills. Sold by the pack of 12 pieces in sterling silver.
