Description
Seamless round tubing is the stock you reach for at the bench when a job calls for hinge tubes, tube-set stones, bezels, or precision fabrications. This Harmony sterling silver round tubing is seamless, sold in 3" (76.2 mm) lengths, one individual piece per size selected.
Ordering sizes are approximate. Exact factory measurements are listed in the Available Options table below as OD × ID, with the suggested insert wire gauge and the wall type for each size.
Features
- Seamless construction with a round profile, drawn in sterling silver
- Cut to 3" (76.2 mm) lengths and sold as an individual piece per size selected
- Hinges: choose an inside diameter (ID) just larger than your hinge pin, then use a slightly smaller diameter wire than the ID for a proper fit
- Tube setting stones: choose an outside diameter (OD) roughly 0.5 mm larger than the stone and an ID smaller than the stone so it cannot drop through, then cut the seat with a bur the exact size of the stone
- Wall types run from 0.25 mm Light through 0.625 mm X-Heavy, with matching insert wire gauges from 5 ga to 19 ga
- All sizes are sterling silver and are not medical-grade material

Notes
- If your stone sits between sizes, choose the next smaller ID. The mouth can be expanded slightly with a center punch before cutting the seat to create a subtle taper.
- Bezel setting tools such as part #153.154MA give fast, uniform tube settings.
- Longer stock is available as matching sterling silver round tubing in 12" lengths.
