Superbrite Rhodium Plating Solution Bath Concentrates make up a fresh rhodium plating bath at the bench at the standard 1 g per pint concentration. Cohler supplies each kit with rhodium bath concentrate and distilled water, so you mix once and plate. For professional industrial and occupational use only.

Compatibility

• Not all metals can be rhodium plated.
• For best results over silver or base metals, use an appropriate pre-plate such as nickel or palladium.

What you get:

• ½ Pint Kit (145.545): 1 bottle rhodium bath concentrate plus 1 pint bottle of distilled water
• 1 Pint Kit (145.549): 2 bottles rhodium bath concentrate plus 1 pint distilled water plus 1 empty pint bottle for mixing
• 1 Quart Kit (145.550): 4 small bottles rhodium bath concentrate plus 1 quart distilled water plus 1 empty quart bottle for mixing

Mixing:

1. Pour the supplied distilled water into the empty mixing bottle.
2. Add the full contents of the rhodium bath concentrate bottles as indicated for your kit size.
3. Cap, mix thoroughly, and label your bath. The resulting solution is equivalent to a pre-mixed rhodium bath at standard concentration.

• Do not use bath concentrate to replenish an existing bath. Its sulfuric acid content is higher than replenisher and can cause dark plating.
• If your working bath is contaminated or no longer plates properly, discard it and start a new bath, because adding concentrate will not correct contamination.
• Contains sulfuric acid. Use appropriate PPE and ventilation, and follow professional plating practices.
• Successful rhodium plating requires proper equipment, surface preparation (cleaning, activation, and strike as needed), and correct process control.
