Description
A reliable bench tool for measuring non-ferrous wire and sheet metal, this gauge uses the British Standard Wire Gauge (S.W.G.) — also known as Sterling Wire Gauge — with numerical ratings from 0 to 36. Size 0 represents the thickest measurement and 36 the thinnest. Decimal equivalents in inches are displayed on the reverse side for quick reference.
Important: This gauge uses the S.W.G. standard and is not equivalent to the Brown & Sharpe (B&S) gauge used as the U.S. standard for non-ferrous wire. If you require B&S measurements, see part number 135.568.
