Cultured Freshwater Round Pearl

From talismans believed to protect against fire and dragons in ancient China to symbols of modesty and purity in Europe, pearls have been treasured for centuries. Cultured pearls form when a bead or small piece of mantle tissue is intentionally introduced into a mollusk, which then deposits concentric layers of nacre. Many pearls display a soft, iridescent glow known as orient.

These undrilled round pearls are offered in a rose-to-cream color range with natural variation, making each pearl unique.
