Vcella B15 Heavy Duty Kiln-120V

A production burnout kiln has to carry a full lost wax cycle every working day without complaint, and the Vcella B15 Heavy Duty Kiln is built for that duty.

Vcella Kilns builds the B15 in California, USA, with extra thick firebrick set inside a steel frame and covered in heavy gauge stainless steel, a combination meant for long service in studio and production settings. The chamber measures 15" W x 11-1/2" D x 8" H within a 23" W x 20-1/2" D x 24" H cabinet, and the kiln reaches a maximum of 2300°F (1260°C).

A hi-low infinite control switch and a basic analog pyrometer handle temperature, which is sufficient for consistent day-to-day work. Most shops running the B15 in production pair it with a separate programmable controller for closer cycle management.

Compatibility

The B15 works with a separately purchased programmable controller when a production burnout cycle needs closer control than the hi-low switch and analog pyrometer provide. No controller is included.

The B15 is built to order and ships directly from the manufacturer, with a lead time of 4–6 weeks from the date of order. At a net weight of 190 lbs (86.5 kg), the kiln is crated and moves by truck freight only; standard parcel shipping is not available for it.
