Dedicate an older pair of scissors for cutting; the film backing is tear-resistant and difficult to tear by hand. Cut to shape as needed and use by hand, or peel away the clear liner to mount on lap tools, steel mandrels, plastic forms, or flat bench surfaces. When the abrasive surface becomes clogged with metal debris, clean the sheet in an ultrasonic cleaner for approximately one minute to restore cutting performance.
