Description
Manufacturing work requires the solder to hold the same gold standard as the piece it joins, and that is what a plumb solder is for.
These plumb white gold solders are manufactured to the same gold content as marked, so a solder labeled 14K contains the true plumb standard of .585 (14K) gold. Unlike repair solders, which are intentionally formulated below karat mark for easier flow, plumb solders are designed for manufacturing applications where strict gold quality standards must be maintained. Plumb solders flow at higher relative temperatures than their repair solder counterparts.
Available in 14K, 18K and 19K white gold formulations, these solders span a range of flow temperatures and grades, from Extra Easy through Hard and Weld, giving jewelers precise control over sequential soldering operations. All formulas are cadmium free and nickel based, supplied in sheet form at approximately 1 DWT per sheet.

Notes
- Plumb solders flow at higher relative temperatures than repair solders, so plan torch work and sequential soldering accordingly.
- These solders are intended for manufacturing use, not general repair work where lower-karat repair solders are typically preferred.
