This wire is 1/20 12K Gold Filled, meaning it is at least 1/20th of 12 karat gold by weight. The temper is half hard, which holds a shape while still taking a bend, and the profile is round. It is sold by the coil, each coil holding approximately 1/2 troy ounce (10 DWT), in five gauges from 16 to 24 (1.3–0.50 mm). Yellow Gold Filled wire is made in the United States.
