Arbe MD-205 Dust Collector With 1/2 HP Polishing Motor

A benchtop dust collector with a polishing motor mounted on it puts capture and buffing into one footprint, which matters when bench room is short. The Arbe MD-205 is a compact dust collector and double spindle polishing machine for professional jewelers and metalsmiths. A 165 CFM squirrel cage motor supplies the suction, and a heavy-duty 1/2 HP polishing motor with a 4" center shaft height turns at a constant 3,450 RPM.

The polishing motor is made in the USA and mounts simply on top of a motor mount box welded to the frame. The on/off switch sits on the right side of the machine for easy access, and a light fixture is fitted for two bulbs, which are not included.

Compatibility

• Baldor polishing motors do not fit this machine.
• The motor frame box is welded onto the base, so only similarly sized motors fit as replacements.
