Asic French Made Jig Vise Miter Cutter

A jig vise miter cutter guides a saw or file so tubing, wire and sheet come out flat and square at a repeatable angle. The Asic 3308 French Made Jig Vise Miter Cutter is widely regarded as the world's best-selling jig vise miter cutter, and for good reason. It is machined from super-hard tool steel rated at 58 HRC and manufactured in France, and it delivers perfectly flat 90 degree and 45 degree cuts on tubing, wire and sheet stock with exceptional repeatability.

Measuring 1-7/8" x 2-3/4", the vise accepts stock up to 1/2" thick. The lower opening guides your saw or file for clean 90 degree cuts, while the upper opening positions stock for precise 45 degree cuts. Both the flat 90 degree slot and the 45 degree slot carry a small integrated stop, with 35mm of clearance from that stop to the edge of the tool, so you can work with flat sheet pieces up to 35mm in length.

The tool can be mounted securely in a bench vise or held comfortably in hand. Simply saw or file against the hardened steel guide, and the result is a perfectly flat, square surface every time. An adjustable stop is included for making repeat cuts of identical length, along with a hex key for locking the stop in place.

Compatibility
