GRS Thermo-Loc Sticks

Thermo-Loc holds rings, bracelets, pendants and other irregular or fragile pieces steady at the bench when a clamp or a vise cannot take a safe grip on them. Glendo GRS supplies this reusable holding material as a polymer that is rigid at room temperature and turns pliable with heat: warm a stick in hot water, in a microwave or with a hot air gun until it softens, then press and fold it around the workpiece. As it cools, it returns to its rigid state and locks the piece in place for work.

Because the softened material conforms to complex contours, it grips shapes that resist conventional clamping without marking delicate surfaces. It is supplied in 6" (150 mm) sticks in a medium gray chosen to reduce eye strain under bench and work lights, and it is made in the USA.
