This kit covers the core bench work of starting out in metalsmithing: sawing, filing, measuring, shaping, holding, and finishing a basic jewelry project.
Otto Frei built it as a focused entry set, and it still carries genuine Swiss made Glardon-Vallorbe needle files, a combination bench pin and anvil, and a tube of Stay Sharp sawing lubricant, so it has real capability for core metalsmithing work.
