A bezel block is the fastest way to bring a bezel to a stone outline at the bench, and this pear block forms pear-shaped settings quickly and consistently. The Italian-made precision bezel block from OMO is cut from specially hardened, tempered steel and ships with a matched punch ground to the same 17° angle as the block. Its 11 precisely sized pear-shaped cavities run from 4 mm × 2.9 mm to 14 mm × 10.0 mm at a consistent 72% width-to-length ratio, giving repeatable results across a wide range of stone sizes for faceted stones and cabochons alike.
