Durston 1035 Olivia C130 Combo Rolling Mill With 50-1 Reduction Gear

A combination rolling mill lets you reduce sheet and draw down wire on one set of rolls at the bench. The Durston Olivia C130 Combo Rolling Mill (Model 1035) makes that work reachable for anyone who finds a traditional hand mill difficult to turn because of limited strength or mobility: a 50-to-1 reduction gear and a large flywheel let the mill be operated with ease while seated, mounted conveniently next to your bench.

As a combination flat and wire mill, the Olivia 1035 carries 75 mm of flat rolling capacity alongside a 55 mm wire groove section, with 11 square wire grooves running 8 mm – 1 mm. Four half-round side extensions (4 mm, 3 mm, 2 mm and 1.5 mm) roll half-round shanks. The front-facing wheel design keeps the work area accessible and the operating position ergonomic.

Like all Durston mills, the Olivia runs self-lubricating, maintenance-free bearings and hardened helical drive gears with a special form for maximum drive efficiency. A calibrated dial with a pointer on both top wheels gives precise, easy-to-read gap measurement, and the 50-to-1 reduction gear is patent pending.
