How we source our metal
Screw one of these backs onto a .041" threaded post when a heavy stud needs more bearing surface than a standard nut gives it. Threaded earring backs, commonly called screw-nuts, fit 1.04mm (0.041") diameter threaded screw-posts. Nicknamed Monster for their large profile, they measure 9.5mm outside diameter at the widest point, which spreads the load and gives the finished earring a substantial feel.
Made in the USA and offered in four precious metal options: 14K yellow gold, 14K white gold, 18K yellow gold, and platinum. Sold by the piece, so order two for a pair.
