A beading tool forms the polished bead that locks a stone in its setting, and this line covers 23 sizes so a setter can match the bead to the stone instead of the other way around. Glardon-Vallorbe grinds each calotte in Switzerland and polishes it ready to use straight out of the box, with no pre-polishing at the bench.

Glardon-Vallorbe is the only manufacturer of genuine Swiss made files, and the same expertise in steel fabrication and heat treatment goes into these tools. The precision ground calotte has a sharp interior edge and a rounded exterior, which gives clean, accurate bead formation with strong repeatability, and the tools outperform competitors in hardness and durability, holding their shape longer and cutting downtime for reshaping or replacement.
