GRS 004-905 Maestro EX Handpiece with 6 Quick Change Holders

Set stones, engrave metal, texture, and hammer from a single pneumatic handpiece at the bench. The GRS Maestro EX Handpiece (004-905) from Glendo GRS is slim, balanced, and exceptionally smooth, built for professional jewelers, stone setters, and metal engravers. It shares the same overall length as the original Maestro with a diameter only 20% larger, yet its piston is over 3.5 times heavier with a longer stroke, delivering significantly more power across stone setting, general metal engraving, texturing, and hammering.

Control remains excellent throughout the full Maestro EX power range. The handpiece uses the GRS QC (Quick Change) Tool Holding system for two-second tool changes, and this set includes six Quick Change holders, so it is versatile straight out of the box.

Compared to the Maestro MX, the Maestro EX is lighter at 3.52 oz. versus 4.96 oz. for the MX, and its maximum diameter is 18 mm versus 22 mm. The Maestro EX delivers power comparable to the GRS Magnum handpiece, while the MX exceeds even that level, so engravers who want real power in a lightweight, compact body will find the EX an ideal choice.

The Maestro EX is constructed from heat-treated stainless steel and solid brass for durability and long-term professional use, and it runs on oil-free compressed air from a compatible GRS engraving system. Hand control can be enhanced by adding an optional Airtact Thumb/Finger element, sold separately.
