Nakanishi NSK Emax Evolution ENK-250T Brushless Hi Torque Motor EMX8087

When larger burs load down a standard micromotor, a hi-torque motor keeps the cut moving at the bench. The NSK Emax Evolution ENK-250T is a brushless hi-torque motor designed exclusively for the NSK Emax Evolution control box, and it is not compatible with the earlier generation NSK Electer E-max Series control box. Compared with the standard ENK-410S motor (EMX8086), the ENK-250T delivers more torque at the cost of a lower maximum speed: 25,000 rpm rather than 40,000 rpm. This makes it the preferred choice for applications that demand greater rotational force, such as work with larger burs.

A high-performance samarium cobalt magnet powers this brushless motor, giving an exceptional combination of high speed and high torque in a lightweight, compact form that weighs 5-1/8 oz without the cord. It runs 1,000–25,000 rpm with stepless speed adjustment, produces up to 4.8 cN·m of torque, and stays extremely quiet across the full speed range. It is made in Japan.

Compatibility

This motor works with the NSK Emax Evolution system only. It will not plug into or operate with the earlier NSK Electer E-max Series control box. For the standard speed motor option with a 40,000 rpm maximum, see ENK-410S (EMX8086).
