Foredom K.1040 Micromotor Kit

Drilling hard metal and setting stones require torque at low speed; bright cutting and polishing require speed, and one micromotor rarely does both well. The Foredom K.1040 Brushless Micromotor Kit, the upgraded replacement for the K.1060, gives you two selectable modes: a low range that holds power from 500–5,000 rpm, and a high range that runs to 50,000 rpm. The brushless motor has no carbon brushes to replace, so the tool is maintenance free, and its sealed housing keeps it quiet and low in vibration. Maximum output is 160W with 11.3 oz-in (8 N·cm) of torque, the handpiece comes with the 3/32 in (2.35 mm) collet installed and a 1/8 in collet in the box, and the control box runs on 110V / 120V or 220V / 240V selected at the rear. It is made in China for Foredom.

Notes

The kit ships with the brushless handpiece and its 3/32 in collet installed, the control box with LED display, a foot speed control, a 1/8 in collet, a collet changing wrench set, a spare fuse and the user manual.

Do not oil or submerge the handpiece. Always wear eye protection and check the RPM rating of every accessory before you run it. The owner's manual carries the full operating and maintenance instructions.
